Steve started his Policing career in 1986 serving 3 years in Durham Region before coming to Hamilton in 1989. Steve continued to serve in several areas of the Hamilton Police service which included: front line patrol, started up the bicycle unit, marine unit, lockup (custody), weekend and holiday court sergeant, traffic officer and motorcycle officer. Steve was also trained as a commercial motor vehicle enforcement officer to inspect medium and large trucks, bus and other commercial motor vehicle. Steve holds a commercial motor vehicle licence and a motorcycle license. This helps in his current practice as he has operated all types of vehicles and understands the dynamics of commercial motor vehicles. While serving as a Police officer Steve also was the head instructor for Police foundations for several years. Steve continues to lecture in Police related matters. In 2016 Steve retired from policing and did not miss a beat! Steve immediately started practicing as a paralegal specializing in traffic matters. Steve is licensed by the Law Society of Upper Canada but relies heavily on his background in policing. Understanding how police operations work and investigating matters is the key to his success. In a very short time Steve has become a very dominating and well-known figure in the Hamilton courts. In October of 2017 Steve took over as owner and operator of the 2 Hamilton X-Police locations. This is an excellent fit for him and Steve enjoys advocating for his clients in court.
Aynsley graduated from Ontario College of Health & Technology in 2010 in Police foundations. Upon graduating Aynsley got licenced in the security field and became a private investigator. While practicing in the field of private investigation she opened her own firm. Aynsley continues to own and operate her private investigation firm and manage field operations. While doing this she attended and completed college to become a licensed paralegal and is currently a paralegal candidate to be licensed very soon. She effectively holds two diplomas that relate to policing and the legal profession. Aynsley is married to Steve and is his motivation and partner in all ways. She has been there with Steve through the years of policing and with him from the start of their paralegal traffic defence practice. Aynsley holds a commercial motor vehicle licence. Yes, she can drive a truck! This helps in her new venture of becoming a licensed paralegal and can help Steve even further in their practice. In October of 2017, Aynsley took over management of the 2 Hamilton X-Police locations. This gives her the opportunity to work with clients and understand their needs.
